After watching yesterday’s match I can safely say Man City’s second string team is the second best team in the league and are only behind their First eleven.

This is the only team that could rest their best player of previous season and go top of the league. They simply don’t even miss KDB anymore.

I am not old enough to recall the 70’s and 80’s but in the past 20 years both UTD and Arsenal has assembled truly excellent teams but the difference is those teams encounter injuries to their key players and during the business end they scrap through the games, But this City team just doesn’t show anything such.

Remember this city team had to play a CM at the left back and a B2B as their DM the whole year.

I can safely say you are giving your own biased opinion based on no factual evidence whatsoever. As Liverpool and Man City are split by just 1 point on matches played, how can you possibly suggest City's second string team is second best in the league.
Man City have not played a second string team all season so how could you ever prove it is only second to their first 11.
Your second paragraph is not true either.

Did you by any chance watch their recent games against Fulham and Cardiff? If not then that’s my evidence! City are still top of the league, they have already won the league cup, finals in the FA Cup, QF in CL. They are sure to play another 8 games in 24 days! I want to know which team in the league could sustain this pressure?
You don’t feel like they are fielding their second strings team which is what makes it beautiful.

I watched both games, City did make changes but to suggest it was a second team is not true. They used the squad to give some players a rest. But you speak as if City are fielding an entire second team which they are not. I have checked the teamsheet for Fulham and Cardiff.
Your post claims there is a Man City first 11, followed by a Man City second string which is not true. Liverpool are proof that you are wrong.
You also do not know yet if City can sustain this pressure as the other 3 trophies have not been decided.
Anyway if Liverpool do not win league and champions league, I hope Man City do as they are a joy to watch.

City made not one or two changes. They made 7 changes. No team in the league could do that and win comfortably in the league.
Their second string team includes Jesus, one of Mahrez / Sane and KDB. They are pretty much starters for most teams in the league.
Liverpool need to win the league to prove your point. The best teams win titles!
