Hi Ed1,

Not sure if I should ask here, and couldn’t find any in the search but what’s your view on Gabriel Jesus? I know your take on mbappe so just interested in what you think of the fellow golden boy nominee. Thanks!

{Ed001's Note - top class player mate, still young and with a lot to learn but really enthusiastic and hard working. I love watching him play, he presses from the front, tracks back if players are caught out of position and is not afraid of a challenge. Added to that he has a good first touch, pace, decent skill and his striking technique is really good. He does need a little work on his runs, he does a lot more running than he really needs to, which is ok as a youngster but your body struggles to cope as you get older.}

Nice review there ed. And yes I love watching him play as well. I thought he took off really well when he came to city last January, couldn’t stop scoring. Seems like he’s level headed as well. I know you don’t follow international football but you reckon he’s a worthy no 9 for Brazil?

{Ed001's Note - I think he is the perfect number 9 for them, because he can do so much more than just score goals. He does not have the hugely overinflated ego, unlike Neymar.}

Even ahead of firmino ed? And yes hopefully Jesus keeps his head in and keep working hard without inflating his ego. Anyway cheers for the response ed, you have a good day!

{Ed001's Note - if he carries on improving, yes. He suits the way they play more, they lack quality finishers, other than Neymar, so they need a Jesus more than a Bobby F. In international footie, you could probably get away with playing both, in a similar way to Man City being able to combine their attacking players and get away with a lack of a decent defence.}
