Thought I'd try again, although I seem to be only only one posting on the city page right now!

Any chance of the potential outs? I hope the stories of Mangala back to Porto aren't true, if Pep can help him improve his game tactically he could still be great for us.

{Ed001's Note - I know Citeh are trying to add a left back and a right back, which suggests that one of Clichy/Kolarov and Sagna/Zabaleta will be leaving, when the replacement arrives. The obvious one is Toure, he is not wanted, Fernandinho is also surplus, so I am told. I did double check he wasn't getting mixed up with Fernando when he told me that (I do get the pair mixed up a lot myself) but I was told it was definitely Fernandinho that was wanted out and City are trying to move on.

Though he also believes that City would welcome a decent offer for Fernando as well, and plan on replacing both them, Delph, Nasri, Navas and Bony over the next couple of windows. Also, which surprises me, there is a belief that Silva is available for transfer.}

Cheers Ed, Fernandinho and Silva are surprising as they are both certainly good enough in my opinion, only thing I can think is that age is counting against them to try and have some resale value?

Thinking about the RB/LB positions going off the earlier post by Ed002 it doesn't look like we had any primary targets in those positions, is there anyone specific we would be looking at ready for first team football? Seen stories of both Zabaleta and Kolarov having interest so imagine they would be the two to go.

Cheers,

{Ed001's Note - I only got told they asked for stats packs for fullbacks who had stood out statistically to analysts.}

Maybe we will start playing 3 at the back bringing in a new CB. Use Denayer as a utility player to play a Rb when 4 at the back . Maybe we look for a lwb someone like Rodriguez from wolfsburg and play sterling as rwb , and have options with Denayer and Sagna as RB alternatives and clichy and Rodriguez on the left.

What you think TheManOfMeat ?

There is absolutely no chance Fernandinho is being sold, he was our best player last year and midfield is the weakest area at the moment.

{Ed001's Note - I would have said the same but I am told Pep does not want him. He wants to take the club in a different direction apparently. He is not seen as being good enough on the ball for the long term.}

3 at the back could be a possibility, with Kompany, otamendi, Mangala, Denayer plus the options of stones/another CB if they are brought in we would be pretty stacked, 3 would give more opportunity for rotation.

Also literally as I was writing this just seen we had a 38m bid for Bonucci rejected so if we go back in for him and pull him off we are definetly stacked!

Well at least that's 3 Manchester city supporters. No wonder I see so many empty seats at the etihad.
