Hello ed002,

Can we have a little bit of update on man city transfer for the remaining transfer window?

It seems a little bit quiet here.

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - To the best of my knowledge it is something like this:
Completed:

Philippe Sander (CB) - a cheap but very promising centre back option - but the club was caned over agent fees
Riyad Mahrez (RW) – completed – frees up a player to leave

Potential interest remains in:

(GK) – we will have to see
Leonardo Bonucci (CB) - provides leadership but age is against him
Toby Alderweireld (CB) - but may need to fend off an offer of a new deal from Spurs, Manchester United and Real Madrid - unlikely
Julian Weigl (DM) – Jorginho option, injured right now
Mario Lemina (DM) – Jorginho option
Miralem Pjanic (CM) – very expensive and interest from elsewhere so very unlikely right now

Interest gone, not for sale or moved elsewhere:

Berke Ozer (GK) - will move to Fenerbahce for the chance of first team football
Matthijs de Ligt (CB) – not going to happen
Eder Militao (RB/CB) - Manchester City know they would need to pay well over the odds if he was to move to England in order to get a work permit - but may do so to block a move to Lazio or Juventus - Chelsea and Porto are options
Sergio Busquets (DM) - over ambitious bid will go nowhere
Jorginho (DM) – gone to Chelsea
Fred (CM) - gone to Manchester United
Jean Michael Seri (CM) – gone elsewhere
Thiago Alcantara (CM) – interest gone
Douglas Costa (RW) – interest gone as Juve look to profiteer
Leon Bailey (LW) – has turned down a move elsewhere and will likely stay where he is this summer
Thomas Lemar (LW) – gone elsewhere
Rafael Leao (F) – will move to Borussia Dortmund
Paulo Dybala (LW/F) – supposedly not available but an offer from elsewhere may still arrive – I don’t see him moving as it stands right now

Wildcards:

Cengiz Under (RW/AM) - one for the future but there is interest if he becomes available
Kylian Mbappe (W/F) - considered initially as an alternative to Mahrez but Manchester City are now looking at him playing in a more fluid role and a little something has now happened that could see a very significant offer made if he became available. However, it would be far from a surprise with Neymar looking to stay another season to see Real Madrid look to Mbappe this summer in addition to Hazard. And there is a better than good chance that they may be joined by Manchester City in making an offer if the club can make the necessary financial provisions - and making Sterling available and taking a loan against next season's earnings could be a big step in that direction.

Gone:

Angus Gunn (GK) - gone to Southampton
Pablo Maffeo (RB) - gone to Stuttgart
Angelino (LB) - gone to PSV
Yaya Toure (CB) - released
Olarenwaju Kayode (S) - left for Shakhtar
Javairo Dilrosun (LW/F) - Gone to Herta
A few players have gone on loan

Players who will be sold or are at least available:

Joe Hart (GK)
Jason Denayer (CB)
Fernandinho (DM)
Oleksandr Zinchenko (CM)
Brahim Diaz (AM)
Patrick Roberts (RW)
Raheem Sterling (RW/LW)

Thoughts are also turning to the futures of Vincent Kompany (CB), David Silva (AM)
and Sergio Aguero (S)

Well I thought that mbappe is set to stay for one more season at psg before moving. so there is slight chance he will move this summer then

Thanks for the reply ed. brilliant as always.
