The difference between Liverpool and Manchester city is, there is a certainty when City plays. Meanwhile Liverpool work with offside goals and lucky deflections lol.

Not a bad result. But Pep got it all wrong! Delph should be back to league one! Paying the price for not buying a left back. Mahrez is a fraud! My god £70 mill player.
David Silva is a midfielder and not a second striker. Subs were atrocious tbh.

City will now need to beat spurs twice to complete their mission quadruple.

Is city interested in Rodri? And have heard they moved on from Saul!
Tbh I don’t find any info about Rodri anywhere on the site!
Though Saul is utter class, Rodri is more viable and regarded as the new Busquets.

It’s easy to support a club when they are successful. For people who started supporting UTD during the Fergie era life was a cakewalk.
At the moment those fans are now starting to get a little taste of what it was like for City in the 70s and 80s.

very true.

04 Apr 2019 15:34:03
After watching yesterday’s match I can safely say Man City’s second string team is the second best team in the league and are only behind their First eleven.

This is the only team that could rest their best player of previous season and go top of the league. They simply don’t even miss KDB anymore.

I am not old enough to recall the 70’s and 80’s but in the past 20 years both UTD and Arsenal has assembled truly excellent teams but the difference is those teams encounter injuries to their key players and during the business end they scrap through the games, But this City team just doesn’t show anything such.

Remember this city team had to play a CM at the left back and a B2B as their DM the whole year.

I can safely say you are giving your own biased opinion based on no factual evidence whatsoever. As Liverpool and Man City are split by just 1 point on matches played, how can you possibly suggest City's second string team is second best in the league.
Man City have not played a second string team all season so how could you ever prove it is only second to their first 11.
Your second paragraph is not true either.

Harry is that you?

06 Apr 2019 23:07:57

Did you by any chance watch their recent games against Fulham and Cardiff? If not then that’s my evidence! City are still top of the league, they have already won the league cup, finals in the FA Cup, QF in CL. They are sure to play another 8 games in 24 days! I want to know which team in the league could sustain this pressure?
You don’t feel like they are fielding their second strings team which is what makes it beautiful.

07 Apr 2019 15:14:05
I watched both games, City did make changes but to suggest it was a second team is not true. They used the squad to give some players a rest. But you speak as if City are fielding an entire second team which they are not. I have checked the teamsheet for Fulham and Cardiff.
Your post claims there is a Man City first 11, followed by a Man City second string which is not true. Liverpool are proof that you are wrong.
You also do not know yet if City can sustain this pressure as the other 3 trophies have not been decided.
Anyway if Liverpool do not win league and champions league, I hope Man City do as they are a joy to watch.

07 Apr 2019 21:23:49
Your last para was awesome to read and that makes you a very unbiased poster. Respect.
City made not one or two changes. They made 7 changes. No team in the league could do that and win comfortably in the league.
Their second string team includes Jesus, one of Mahrez / Sane and KDB. They are pretty much starters for most teams in the league.
Liverpool need to win the league to prove your point. The best teams win titles!

Second string team without the Silva brothers and absolutely cruising.

Big Match on Wednesday, Cardiff are not a pushover and are fighting for the lives. There are two scenarios. Cardiff want to take a revenge of what happened against Chelsea and they have downed their pants.

Absolutely no doubt on City. First class payers and first class playing style. Would score more than 4 against them at home.

Football is played by everyone, it’s not someone’s sole property. You do what you do the best and the best always do the very best.

Liverpool are pushing all the way! City will need to beat Cardiff and probably win all the remaining games.

The difference between City and the rest of the teams including Liverpool, City are excellent in occupying the space that you can’t even spot on a normal eye.
City rarely lose the ball and It’s impossible to regain possession. They move the ball like playing on the ice.
Liverpool struggled to create clear cut chances against Fulham,
City here are already cruising!

You need technique and brains in the middle.
Bernardo Silva is the most underrated in the league! Another £40 mill midfielder!

City are creating history. They don’t have a rich one But they will have one. Football was not started yesterday and certainly won’t stop tomorrow. City will surpass quiet a few and it’s only a matter of time.
It takes time but everyone took their time to reach where they are today.
Head and shoulders above UTD already.
There is a generating that is growing up and they certainly like the way City play and operate.
Forget the names on the pitch and the names off the pitch, City has the Absolute best DOF in mainland Europe.
Beat that!

City has a bigger stadium and has sold out all of the remaining PL games except the final one and they say city don’t have fans 😂😂😂😂

Sterling is incredible. Always has been. If only Liverpool sacked Rodgers before he managed to bully the kid out of the club, he would be flying under Klopp!

His improvement against all the odds is a story teller! Excellent movement. 38 goal involvements already this season for someone who cannot shoot properly!

Manchester City should look to explore the possibility of signing Wan Bissaka. The lad is head and shoulders above both Walker and Useless trippier!

City are just a Left back and a DM away form owning this league for a good 10 years!
Ndombele and Saul Niguez would be the best pair in mainland Europe!
Saul Niguez is utter class. He is like a Daglish of midfield. Could do all!

Wouldn’t mind Mane at Manchester City! If they are willing to do the business. I would give them Mahrez and some cash in return.
Mane is simply unplayable! Could play either side with ease.
He has trumendous power on either feet!
Mane and Sane on the wings!

I'll have what your smoking. Never in a million years would Liverpool sell such an important player to a rival team. Not in this day an ages anyway.

23 Mar 2019 16:05:40
Raheem Sterling! What a player!
How much is he worth today? The best £50 mill Manchester city has ever spend! any clue how many goals has he scored this season?

So it looks like Saul Niguez is coming down which means their CM quota is filled. Which could mean Auror if off from the list.

Hi Ed002 what players are Manchester city interested in?

{Ed002's Note - They want a LWB, DM, CM, AM. They have a number of options in each of these positions.

Ben Chilwell (LWB) - first choice
Alex Grimaldo (LWB)
Junior Firpo (LB) – looks to be heading elsewhere but Manchester City are keen given he can also play DM
Although not a position they need to fill, MC have been keeping an eye on Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RWB) Crystal Palace don't wish to sell although there has been interest declared by Manchester City but a move seems unlikely without game time and that would do nothing but stiffle his career. Other clubs looked at him last season but Crystal Palace made clear that they wanted to keep him. He should stay where he is for now and take the opportunities he has.
Although not a position they need to fill, MC have been keeping an eye on Ozan Kabak (CB) has signed a new contract with Galatasaray so any immediate move is unlikely - and to boost his value - but much is expected of Kabak and he has attracted scouts from Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Fortuna Dusseldorf, Manchester United and, in particular, Inter Milan whose interest (together with Manchester City) led to the new contract.
One for the future, Francisco Ferreira (CB) - Benfica won't want to sell Ferro and would want far too much money to do so
Ruben Neves (DM) may be priced out of a move but efforts to strike some sort of deal will be made
Julian Weigl (DM) interest waning
Tanguy Ndombele (CM/DM) - seen by Guardiola as the Yaya Toure replacement who could suit Manchester City for years to come - the enquiry with Lyon was simple, "he can be available for ten times what he cost us in the summer" (which was a cheap €8M) - an enormous step up and an outrageous price – and is likely heading elsewhere after talks
Tiago Dantas (CM) - a youngster that Benfica consider Manchester City are trying to “steal” from them
Ilay Elmkies (CM) 19 year old from Hoffenheim whose agent Jonathan Barnett is hawking around - Manchester City have taken a look, as have Ajax – I don’t expect anything to happen
Frenkie de Jong (CM) Manchester City looked at the player but he is heading elsewhere
Houssem Aouar (CM) Manchester City approached Lyon about Aouar and Ndombele in Milan in January and it was made clear that only one key player will be allowed to leave this summer unless particularly stupid money is offered.
Isco (AM) - seen as a David Silva replacement but his future is unclear right now
João Felix (AM) Benfica will look to hold on to him and will give him a new contract - a move to Manchester City would not be advisable and the asking price is truly ridiculous
Kylian Mbappe (W/F) - considered initially as an alternative to Mahrez but Manchester City are wary of the price and would need to be looking at him playing in a more fluid role - a little something has now happened that could see a very significant offer made if he became available but I am doubtful at this time if Manchester City would be successful

Ndombele is a beast!

25 Mar 2019 22:06:29
Give palace Walker in exchange and that’s a guaranteed playing time! Wan Bissaka is light years ahead of Walker. Probably the best RB in the league!

Rumours of pep agreeing to go to juve.

Paper rumours so I don't really take notice but any substance to this. Any of the Ed's shed any info

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any such agreement.}
