Hi ED002,
I know you said in the summer that as part of the deal for Messi to sign at Man City, Pep would sign a contract extension. With Messi not signing, I just wondered if there was a change in Pep's contract situation?
Do City still plan on signing Messi and therefore Pep plans on sign an extension or as it stands do you expect Guardiola to move on from Man City in the summer?

{Ed002's Note - Lionel Messi (F) The plan was to leave next summer although a new contract might be possible - but much will depend on the forthcoming election. Manchester City would be interested in taking him and would offer Messi a 2 years plus 1 year deal if Guardiola were to give assurances that he will extend by 2 years as well. Manchester City are very keen for Guardiola to make his intentions clear as they want to plan for the future and don't want to be left in the position that Bayern Munich were with Guardiola.}
